Meet the Founder

Erick Burgos. 22 years of Navy service, translated into a mission for veterans in the outdoors.

A man in outdoor gear standing on a mountain top with a flagpole bearing an American flag and a Veterans Adventure Group flag, under a clear blue sky.

Erick Burgos established Trailhead Strategies Group, a Colorado-based advisory firm led by veterans that helps veteran entrepreneurs and outdoor nonprofits achieve growth through strategic guidance and mission-driven consulting.

With 22 years of Navy service, he applied military discipline and leadership experience to business advisory work, managing diverse teams in demanding global environments while prioritizing purpose-driven leadership and collaborative achievement.

Post-military, Erick transitioned his leadership background into business consulting, serving veteran entrepreneurs and outdoor recreation organizations, helping former service members rediscover purpose through business ventures, program launches, and outdoor engagement.
